NEWS FROM M-TEAM:
From Mick and Rachel: "18 months on the road (with a few breaks), half of those with a baby in tow. We never planned to be here this long. In fact, we fully expected to be back in Spain four months ago (before our baby was mobile enough to need baby-proofing), but we’re still here, working to raise our support. And apparently we’re not the only ones having trouble—even veteran missionaries are facing deficit accounts and are struggling to garner the new monthly support they need to keep them on the field. We’ve had to continue to push back our leave date because we can’t get clearance to go without funding, so if you ask us when we expect to leave for Spain, the honest answer at this point is, we don’t know. We still have some $2,500 in monthly support to go, and at the rate we’ve been picking up new support it could be a year before we reach our goal."
SEND YOUR SUPPORT FOR THE M-TEAM AND HISPANIC MINISTRIES TO: The Together Way, P. O. Box 429, Hurley, MS 39555.

Just a Little Something from the desk of the Executive Secretary:
For some years I served the MS Home mission church in Pearl, MS. My wife and I had returned from the Pearl community on our way to our house. While we were stopped waiting for a light to change, a man traveling in the cross street made a U turn in the intersection and slammed into the side of our car. Since the impact was on my side, we had to get out the other door. I walked around to see if the man was hurt. He was drunk. Immediately he began to ask me not to call the police. He pulled out his billfold and said, "here, I've got the money to pay you now. Just don't call the police." Not only was he drunk enough to have an accident, his foolish drunkenness was leading him to be careless with his money. To be indifferent to any kind of value is not using good sense. To waste is not wise, but stupid; not big, but little. It is only the small that do not care to waste. Wastefulness is often associated with a lack of responsibility. Big people see the foolishness of waste. To waste or misappropriate that which God has provided through His people is not only foolish but borders on sinfulness.
